Foods that fight fat losing weight and keeping the pounds off is not a quick or easy process specially  for new Mommies. But a few simple diet tricks can be a big help. For new Mommies taking rest is kind of elusive, exercise become quite impossible specifically in those first few months. Dieting is also strictly no no…. So to lose weight in healthy way, begin the day with healthy breakfast. Protein rich carbohydrate rich energy breakfast to keep the energy level high enough for the enduring day ahead.

There are two recipes of breakfast which is not only protein or carbohydrate rich but also quite easy to prepare. First one is Chatpata Fruit Basket second one is Low Calorie Dahi Vada.

1. CHATPATA FRUIT  BASKET

INGREDIENTS:

2tbsp sprouted Moong,

3tbsp fresh low fat Paneer

 1 Orange sliced

 1/2 Grapefruit segmented

1/2cup of Watermelon deseeded sliced

 1/2cup Papaya  sliced

11 Banana sliced, fresh Strawberries, 2 Dates sliced, spices-cumin powder, Chilli powder

Method

Sprinkle cumin powder and chili powder and salt (according to taste) on the moong sprout and cottage cheese. Arrange all the ingredients in large plate and serve it cold.

2. LOW CAL DAHI VADA

Ingredients:

1/2cup ur ad dal soaked for two hours and drained

1/2 tsp roughly chopped ginger

1/2 tsp roughly chopped green chillies

Salt to taste

3/4 tsp oil for greasing

To be mixed into a curd mixture

1/2 cup whisked thick curd

2 tbsp milk

A pinch of salt

For serving

3 tbsp khajur imli Ki chutney, green chutney, Chilli powder for sprinkling and for garnishing chopped coriander leaves.

For vadas
Combine the urad dal, ginger, green chillies and salt and blend in a mixture to a smooth paste using 1/2cup of water. Transfer the batter into deep bowl and keep it aside. Heat a broad non stick pan grease it with oil. Put 1tbsp of batter. We can make four vadas  at a time. Cover it with lid and cook it on slow flame for 2,-3minutes. Put them in a bowl with enough water and allow them to cool for 3minutes.Squeeze the water out and keep aside.
Place vadas in serving plate. Put little curd mixture, one tbsp  of khajur imli chutney, little Chilli powder and coriander leaves evenly over the curd.
So this is the Healthy Breakfast for Mothers which is very easy to prepare.. !! Savor the delicacies. ..!!!
