Success isn’t a long term goal that most of us have been living with. The real beauty of success is in enjoying those nugatory efforts we take to reach towards our destination. The true aura of accomplishment, is in clinking a glass of wine with success as your partner rather than throwing lavish parties and spending thousands of rupees. The disarming truth is that today we have forgotten the actual meaning behind it. People label us according to the brand we wear. The one wearing the top most brand is segregated as a classy, suit-packed one and other with a mediocre brand as a middle class one with no sassy-classy scents. We are all rapacious for success.  We dress up with accessories and wear perfumes, scent, completely oblivion of what’s going within. Materialistic attachment has always sabotaged our lives and cocooned our real personality.

Have we ever tried to savor the fragrance of success? We are constantly chasing after it, running days and nights, sometimes even ignoring our health because after all success is all about making money. Unfortunately, the real virtue and importance of success is always overruled and unexplored.

Right from childhood filling our piggy banks to depositing hefty amount in our personal deposits, in order to secure our future, we have been scrimping our ways and savings. We only come to realize once we age, carry a stick in our hands, become bald and sick , that we crave to relive those moments again that have been lost somewhere in the hall of fame. Most of the times, we turn blank and fail to rejoice in the sweet fragrance of success. The enchanting essence of success is indeed like a parched dessert craving for rain and ready to immerse in the refreshing and soothing fragrance of water.

Why all of us are bereft of tasting this expensive perfume of our life, is a portentous issue. Personally, I never knew the magic of this scent of success, as I too was piled up gaining my high profile marks and stabilizing my career, although I failed a number of times in my Personal and professional life. I never valued the tantalizing sweetness of success. I was coached and brought up in an environment, where the fragrance of success meant a handsome job, a well settled family and children. In other words-a corporate superstar. That’s it.

As a matter of fact, all of us fail to discover the real perfume that we hold within us, a magic bottle of scent that we all carry with us. Though invisible, but we do carry. However, we always seek outside for this aroma of success. We are not even aware how powerful this scent of success is. The real success in life comes from realizing the powers we hold within self. Accepting the way we have been designed by the creator of this universe, boldly standing for what we believe in and fighting for our rights, displaying empathy and compassion in this contradictory world, being passionate and committed towards our goals rather than being confused or disoriented are the cardinal components for a fulfilling life and lead to a path of success.

Be the Hero of your own life: You were, you are and you will be the hero of your own life, no matter what the hell happens in your life. Stop blindly following others and wasting your precious time and money seeking someone as your ‘Guru’. Instead invest in yourself, dig closely into the gold mine that you possess and explore the uniqueness and your purpose of life.

The sickening reality is that we all are very well acquainted with what we can do, what we can’t, however we are just a one step away from reaching our goal. Just step out of this materialistic world as well as emotional attachment and utilize your powers in the right direction that in turn leads to a complacent life. Look into the sunrise within you rather than being a silo buster.

Can we take a mini-retirement from this cursory world and book our tickets to know ourselves so that we can celebrate the true scent of success?

  Cheers to Success!
